Reproductive Health Rights of women with disabilities

According to rough estimates, at least 10% of Nepal’s population is living with some kind of disability. People living with disabilities are a highly marginalized group and women living with disabilities are ‘doubly’ marginalized. The reproductive health of women living with disabilities is of grave concern. NFCC  in partnership with NDWA, has developed a strategy to ensure implementation of the ruling of the Supreme Court directive based on a Public Interest Litigation(PIL) filed by NDWA wherein all health facilities have been directed to implement disabled friendly services especially for reproductive health.
