Menstrual Hygiene Management in Emergencies

In the aftermath of the humanitarian crisis after the 2015 earthquake, NFCC with the support of WaterAid, focused on Menstrual Hygiene Management in affected communities in five districts. NFCC worked to provide emergency supplies of sanitary napkins and soap for hand-washing as an essential part of hygiene regime. Every woman we have provided sanitary supplies to, has been taught how to use the napkins, maintain hygiene, dispose menstrual waste and wash hands properly.
