Multi-ethnic Assessment of Menstrual Hygiene Management

NFCC in collaboration with Water, Sanitation and Hygiene-Resource Centre Network Nepal is currently doing an assessment with nine ethnic groups of Nepal namely Brahmin, Chhetri, Musalman, Magar, Yadav, Newar, Tamang, Kami and Tharu in nine districts to understand the knowledge, behaviour and attitude among these ethnic communities about menstruation/menstrual hygiene management and practices associated with it. The districts covered are Doti, Dang, Kapilvastu, Lalitpur, Chitwan, Tanahun, Makwanpur, Saptari and Jhapa.
